ok... i think i'll use this whole blog to tell people and educate them on the finer aspects of saiyuki.

people ask me, what's so good about saiyuki? Why are you and Yue Yiao so crazy about it? What the hell is saiyuki???

i'll answer that... and give any one reading this more than you've bargained for... i'm talking about those underprivilaged people who do not know about saiyuki...

it's actually a pretty screwed up version of journey to the west. u noe? the chinese one where 4 people go on a sarced quest or whatever. their quest is to get the scriptures, right? very important mission.

saiyuki... pretty much the same... holy quest but different mission... see, youkai and humans pretty much lived together happily for some time in this sleepy little town, until the bad guys--Gyokumen Kosyu, in a bid to resurrect her husband, Gyumaou, mixes magic and science together... which is like a serious no-no. it turns all the peace loving youkai insane... and they attack people. the 4 main characters in saiyuki are well, supposed to put a stop to this as well as find out the reason it is happening...

Intoducing... tatatata... the characters!!!

my darling genjo sanzo... he's supposed to be the monk... u noe, the holiest of monks... the baldie, the weak one who can't fight, the softie... but BUT, in saiyuki, it's an entirely different story... he is still the holiest of monks, or rather the most high up,... but with gorgeous blonde hair and violet eyes... and he drinks, smokes, and swears, with a totally kick-ass attitude, looking at the world with contempt, and a temper that rivals mine... heehee, he CAN fight, with a gun, and his paper fan... wad can i say, when he wears his reading glasses, i just want to drool..

next... son goku... he's the monkey god... quite similar to the original monkey god thou... except his love for eating... can be quite scary when his demon safety device thingy is taken off... he's so kawaii... and sweet and like a child...... love him! he likes sanzo a lot... and well... whoever likes sanzo has my love!!! (",)

cho hakkai... the pig... originally, that is, but he's no pig in saiyuki... cute with black hair and green eyes... i could just stare for hours... he has a pretty sad past... and a smile that's constantly on his face... he's the driver with the transportation for the journey... oiyar, he also buys the groceries for the whole lazy lot of them...

sha gojyo... yy's fav... red hair and red eyes, a half-breed between human and youkai... he's the water demon... but that's so not true here... he sure can kick ass... and he loves women, and wine... all the no-nos... and he and hakkai... best buds, he rescued hakkai... wad do u expect??

throw all of them together, and you get the best comic ever! really... u should go read it, or just look at the pics... and drool... i love them all....
